There is no doubt that the live events industry has come under greater scrutiny and tighter controls in recent years to ensure the safety of crew and all those on site.

We don’t cut any corners.

Here’s a few pointers to consider ahead of being on site.

  1. Is the structure compliant with the relevant regulations (ie. BS EN 13782, IStructE in the UK)?

  2. Is the structure ‘fit for purpose’?

  3. Does the team have the relevant industry experience and training?

  4. Does your supplier have proof of competence?

  5. Is the site folder complete and on-hand, should it be required?

  6. Are the key personnel on site fully briefed on the lift plans and build RAMS?

  7. Does the crew have the relevant tickets for plant use?

  8. Has the plant been checked for pre-use and inspected?
